Music video by Sting performing Russians. C) 2005 A&M Records.

Перевод текста песни Russians исполнителя (группы) Sting. It would be such an ignorant thing to do. Было бы крайне опрометчиво так поступить, If the Russians love their children too. Если русские тоже любят своих детей. How can I save my little boy.

Russians" is a song by Sting, from his debut solo album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, released in June 1985, and released as a single in November.

Sting was inspired to write Russians during the Cold War after watching a pirated satellite Russian broadcast of Russian children’s television programming and realizing Russians love their children just as we do. Its melody is based on Lieutenant Kije Suite by Russian composer Prokofiev.

Russians, the second single from Sting's 1985 album The Dream of the Blue Turtles, expresses fear and concern about the revived arms race of the 1980s. Born Gordon Sumner in 1951, Sting first rose to prominence in the late 1970s as the lead singer, bass player and songwriter of British new wave band The Police. He then embarked on a solo career, releasing his award-winning debut album The Dream of the Blue Turtles in 1985. Russians, the fourth single from this album, is based around a theme by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
